We're pleased to announce that the 2013 Todd Davis Memorial Golf tournament will be held at Lonne Poole Golf Course on April 6th. More information and online sign up to come.
From the Fraternity: Dear Fellow Brothers, Family, and Friends,
The time has come again to reserve your spot in the 13th Annual Todd Davis Memorial Golf Tournament. The event is put on in memory of Todd Davis, an SAE brother from the NC Alpha Class of 1993, who lost his life to cancer. Todd embodied everything that SAE represents and a large event to celebrate his contributions is only appropriate. The tournament will be held at Lonnie Poole Golf Course at NC State on Saturday April 6th, 2013 with a shotgun start at 9:00am. The event will have a 4-man Captain's Choice format, which will work well for beginners and low handicappers alike. Longest drive and closest to the pin contests should help to keep things interesting. Contestants are encouraged to come up with four-man teams, but groups will also be paired together by the tournament director.
The entry fee is $100 for alumni and friends. This fee includes the round of golf, range balls, awards, and dinner after the event. By participating in the tournament you will also be contributing towards the annual Todd Davis Scholarship and the sponsorship of a hole at the annual Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic in Todd's name. If you are not able to participate in the tournament, please consider being a sponsor. We appreciate your support of the chapter which helps to ensure that the tournament remains as strong as ever.
Checks for the registration fee or sponsorship should be made out to Todd Davis Scholarship Fund and sent to Amy Timberlake, 4001 Forgotten Pond Ave, Wake Forest, NC, 27587 accompanied by the appropriate forms below. When registering for the tournament, please send an e-mail to Ian Stewart with the names of your teammates and indicate if you will be paying for more than one entry fee. We look forward to having a successful tournament and raising money for a great cause. Hope to see you there!
Sincerely, The Brothers of SAE
